A busy law firm in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking an experienced legal secretary to support their litigation attorneys. In this role, you will provide crucial administrative, operational, organization, and legal support to a friendly team. Key Responsibilities:
- Work shoulder to shoulder with the firm’s partners to manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and process expenses.
- Proofread and edit pleadings, emails, memoranda, presentations, and reports.
- Assist with the monthly billing process, coordinating and finalizing invoices for clients.
- Manage deadlines, coordinate deliverables, and ensure seamless client service.
- Organize files, order supplies, disseminate mail, and assist with special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced. You are a seasoned legal secretary or legal administrative assistant with at least four (4) or more years working directly in an attorney support role. Degree preferred but not required.
- Mentorship and maturity. You are seeking an opportunity where you can utilize your developed skillset to not only provide overall office support, but also mentorship and professional development for colleagues who may have less experience. Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement will be essential to success in this role!
- Ready to catch all. In role with blended responsibilities, you understand the importance of being a team player and adaptable to filling in any gaps where needed.
- Traditional craft, modern mindset. You seamlessly navigate standard office applications including Microsoft Office, document management systems, and paper billing, while transcribing notes with speed and accuracy. You take pride in your foundational skills but remain eager to adopt new workflows and continuously improve your craft.
The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
