As the Manager, Executive Office of this company with real estate ties, you will play a pivotal role in helping a C-level leader stay focused on the priorities, people, and decisions that matter most. This is a highly trusted position for an experienced professional who can bring structure to a fast-moving environment, anticipate what is needed before it is requested, and ensure important priorities move forward with consistency. The ideal candidate combines strong execution with sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and the confidence to bring thoughtful perspective to leadership. If you thrive when operating close to leadership and enjoy making the people around you more effective, this could be your next exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to C-level leadership, managing calendars, priorities, and overall schedules around the work and relationships that require the greatest attention.
- Prepare leadership for high-level meetings by gathering relevant background, maintaining context on key relationships, and ensuring the right information is available at the right time.
- Maintain strong visibility into leadership’s most pressing matters, commitments, and follow-up items, creating systems that keep important actions moving and ensure commitments are consistently closed.
- Follow up on meetings and conversations, documenting next steps, tracking outstanding items, and making sure important commitments continue moving forward.
- Review upcoming schedules and priorities to identify competing demands, shifting priorities, and areas that may need additional attention.
- Help maintain strong connections by coordinating follow-ups, facilitating important introductions, and keeping essential people and priorities on leadership’s radar.
- Coordinate travel, meeting preparation, and other ad hoc needs while remaining attentive to shifting priorities.
- Use sound judgment to flag issues, raise questions, and offer perspective when additional context or executive involvement may be needed.
- Handle highly sensitive information and interactions with discretion while building trusted relationships with those around you.
- Contribute to an effective executive office by continually refining systems, improving workflows, and finding ways to increase the effectiveness of leadership.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
- An opportunity to work in close partnership with the C-suite and gain broad visibility into organizational strategy, leadership development, culture, and business operations.
- This is an onsite role requiring maturity, executive presence, and adaptability in a growing environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Executive-level experience. You have demonstrated success supporting a C-suite leader in a demanding environment. Candidates with real estate, finance or Hill experience will stand out!
- Foresighted. You naturally stay ahead and act before an issue becomes a request.
- Judicious. You know how to separate the urgent from the important and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
- Accountable. You take ownership from beginning to end, follow through without repeated direction, and have a strong instinct for closing open loops.
- Perceptive. You understand interpersonal dynamics, read situations thoughtfully, and recognize details or opportunities that others may overlook.
- Confident. You can offer candid feedback, raise concerns, and challenge assumptions respectfully while maintaining a strong partnership with senior leadership.
- Curious. You want to understand the business, its people, and the reasoning behind priorities, not simply complete the next task on the list.
- Technically advanced. You are highly comfortable with calendars, project-management tools, and emerging AI technology.
