An established Washington, DC law firm is seeking a detailed and discrete professional for their Records Clerk opening. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately organizing, maintaining, and securing legal and administrative records, conducting periodic audits, and working cross-collaboratively with other departments to provide timely and effective records support. The firm is seeking candidates with stellar attention to detail, sound judgement and handling of sensitive information, and a self-starter, problem-solving approach to work. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain organization and accessibility of all legal documents and administrative paperwork.
- Accurately enter information into the company’s database or records management system to ensure all records are up to date.
- Following proper policies, regulations and precautions, oversee the securing of and storage of highly confidential information.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure records are processed and aligned.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill record needs and provide support wherever necessary.

- Polished. Your professionalism and sound judgement are where you stand above! At least a year of relevant administrative work experience is required and currently holding an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.

- Proactive problem-solver. You love working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working proactively to address potential conflicts and resolve them in a timely manner.

The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
