As the Lead of Legal Administration and Operations with this in house corporate legal department, you will serve as the central operational point, keeping daily workflows organized, prioritized, and moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Legal Department’s day-to-day administrative functions and workflow, including monitoring the shared inbox, assessing and prioritizing requests, directing work to the appropriate team member or business partner, and following requests through completion.
- Support department communications, calendars, meetings, office organization, supplies, and team needs while escalating matters that are urgent, sensitive, or unclear.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of legal files, corporate records, matters, and documents, while monitoring retention, confidentiality, and access requirements.
- Administer legal matter, outside counsel, and vendor processes, including invoices, expenses, purchase orders, vendor documentation, accruals, budgets, billing records, and routine reports.
- Work with Legal, Finance, Accounts Payable, and external vendors to address discrepancies, follow up on outstanding items, and identify matters requiring attention related to deadlines, risks, or budgets.
- Manage legal operations projects such as onboarding and offboarding, process and technology implementations, system improvements, department events, and recurring departmental activities.
- Coordinate project stakeholders, timelines, deliverables, and communications, while addressing issues and proposing solutions when work is at risk.
- Guide legal leaders and team members on administrative procedures, intake processes, tools, and workflows, and maintain procedures, templates, trackers, and resource materials to support consistent processes.

What We’re Looking For:
- Legal administrative/operations background. You have at least four (4) or more years of prior related experience in administrative or operations centered roles specifically in legal environments. Candidates with similar educational backgrounds including bachelor’s in business administration, legal studies, or a paralegal certificate will stand out!
- Microsoft Expert. You have advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, document management, and legal / office application systems. Strong computer skills will be essential!
- Analytical and agile. Your standout strengths include your organizational and problem-solving skills as well as your continuous motivation to improve yourself and processes around you.
