As the temporary Paralegal for this international law firm, you will support a busy practice during one of its most active periods, assisting with legislative and regulatory research, client communications, lobbying compliance, and political action committee (PAC) administration. You will work closely with clients and the broader team to monitor developments, prepare filings and written materials, and ensure time-sensitive priorities are handled accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with external contacts, helping address questions and support ongoing firm needs.
- Track legislative and regulatory activity and assess developments relevant to client interests.
- Conduct research in response to client requests and practice needs.
- Prepare and submit filings at the federal, state, and local levels, staying current on changing requirements across applicable jurisdictions.
- Support the administration of multiple PACs, maintaining accurate balances and compliance records and assisting with required state and federal filings.
- Review records and filings, identify discrepancies, and assist with resolving issues to maintain accurate and timely reporting.
- Review contributions and conduct research on federal, state, and local campaign finance requirements to help ensure client compliance.
- Draft client-facing documents and communications using strong writing and attention to detail skills.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, taking ownership of assigned work while collaborating closely with colleagues and clients.

The hourly listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
