Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Calling all experienced Real Estate Paralegals! This large global law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys in all aspects of complex real estate transactions. In this role you will be reviewing title and survey documents, identifying property issues, coordinating with title companies and vendors, preparing transaction-related documents, and assisting with due diligence and reporting. The firm is seeking candidates with prior legal real estate experience, exceptional attention to detail and ownership of work, and a strong commitment to service and integrity for the firm and their clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and related real estate documents to identify exceptions, liens, easements, encumbrances, and site control issues.
  • Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, and vendors on title policies, surveys, document corrections, and technical issues, assist with resolving any document discrepancies.
  • Prepare title objection summaries, legal descriptions, and title/survey analysis materials to support attorneys and clients.
  • Summarize key terms from real estate documents, including easements, leases, declarations, and reciprocal easement agreements.
  • Order, track, and review ALTA/NSPS surveys for accuracy and consistency with title documents.
  • Manage due diligence materials, document databases, reports and related records.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Real estate experience. You have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of specialized legal real estate experience. Candidates with prior experience with title and survey matters will stand out!
  • Microsoft and Windows wiz. You are an expert in all things Microsoft and Windows software and are technologically adept at learning new systems quickly.
  • Proactive, prioritize, problem-solver. You demonstrate excellent judgement and skill in your approach and ability to tackle tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Being able to independently resolve problems while maintaining discretion will be essential to success in this role.

The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
