Executive Assistant to Policy Leadership Executives

Washington, D.C./Hybrid

$80,000 – $95,000

As the Executive Assistant with this DC Association, you will be providing right-hand support to several executives operating across various policy groups.  You will be responsible for handling a range of executive support, administrative and operational related tasks. This mid-size association is looking for someone who is well organized, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain calendars and daily schedules, including all meetings and engagements.
  • Assist with planning and management of small and large events.
  • Prepare briefing materials for key meetings with members.
  • Monitor all documents that need to be sent out, edited, transcribed, and inputted.
  • Support policy initiatives and project-based tasks in a busy setting, always acting two steps ahead.
  • Oversee contract/report processes for the department and provide assistance to the other departments as needed.
  • As an extension to several policy teams, playing a critical role in project deadline tracking, budgeting, document review and compiling various research projects.
  • Handle all travel arrangements, itineraries, and transportation for when the executives travel.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced. You have 4-5 years of previous work experience in the administrative field.
  • Detail-oriented. Perfection is your middle name; you understand that it’s your job to be mindful of deadlines and execute excellent work product.
  • Communicative. You enjoy working with others in a team environment and are professional with clients.
  • Adaptable. You are a self-starter and can prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines at one time.
  • Writing and editing-whiz. You can clearly express ideas in your writing and spot grammatical errors in documents. Strong writing and editing skills are essential.
  • Curiosity. You bring a natural interest to policy and expanding your knowledge.

 

The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
