Temporary Executive Assistant (Long Term Contract)

Washington D.C./Hybrid

$28 – $32/Hour

This association has an immediate need for an experienced Executive Assistant. In this role, you will work directly to support the CEO while assisting other senior level leadership within the executive office. You will be working closely with the Board of Directors and Board Committees as well as the CEO to assist with scheduling and calendar management, internal communication maters, and creating engaging PowerPoint presentations. About the Job:

  • Manage all scheduling concerns for the CEO, including appointments, meetings, events, and travel, assuring any changes are communicated and time is monitored throughout the day.
  • Compile meeting materials, room booking and set-up, itinerary details and follow-up tasks for Board meetings.
  • Assist with departmental projects and provide support to other team members as needed.
  • Liaise with the senior management team to facilitate communication and coordinate support where needed.
  • Stay informed on the status of all projects, proactively respond to issues, and handle processes when Senior Management is unavailable.

About You:

  • Experienced. You have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting an Executive or C-suite office.
  • MS Office adept. You are skilled in Microsoft products, especially PowerPoint.
  • Degreed. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Flexible. You can adjust quickly to sudden change.
  • Organized. You have the ability to manage ongoing deadlines.
  • Focused. Your discipline allows you to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time.
