Temporary Legal Business Development Assistant (Four-month Opportunity)

Washington, D.C./Hybrid

$28 – $32/Hour

As the Temporary Business Development Assistant at this law firm, you will support legal research and writing initiatives, strategic business development, and legal marketing plans for a busy practice. The firm is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, experience in research, project management, excellent writing and editing skills, strong Excel skills and experience using GenAI. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on various topics and translate to actionable insights.
  • Assist with project management support for multiple business development plans for firm.
  • Assist in preparing pitch materials and written proposals.
  • Develop and maintain materials and reports.
  • Additional tasks as needed, including data management and input, research, webinar and online materials and more.
  • Communicate with various internal contacts, such as legal staff, on BD initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced. You have your Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of research and marketing or business development experience.
  • Quality performer. You consistently produce high-quality work in a busy environment.
  • Communicative. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and pay close attention to details.
  • Enthusiastic. You have a great attitude, are highly self-motivated, and have an understanding of marketing principles.
  • Computer savvy. You are an expert with Microsoft Office products and have a wide knowledge of databases and PC programs. Well versed in Excel, including pivot tables.

 

The hourly listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
