As the Supervisor of Legal Support Staff for this leading law firm, you will be the go-to resource for supervising and supporting a dynamic team of legal administrative and billing professionals. You’ll serve as a hands-on leader ensuring daily workflow runs smoothly, the support team is optimized, and quality standards are met across the board. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of legal administrative support across multiple practice areas.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of legal assistants and administrative staff; manage performance, conduct training, and ensure professional development.
- Coordinate team scheduling to ensure seamless support and coverage.
- Collaborate with attorneys and senior management to align support resources with departmental needs.
- Support team goal setting and deliver timely, constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and quickly address any concerns or performance issues.
- Contribute to division-wide planning and implementation of change management and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain internal tracking systems, spreadsheets, and performance metrics.
- Provide responsive communication and exceptional client service to attorneys, staff, and internal departments.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced leader. You have at least five years of law firm or professional services experience, including direct supervisory duties.
- People-focused. You are a motivating presence who sets clear expectations and supports team success.
- Organized. You keep track of moving parts and can juggle scheduling, staffing, and performance monitoring.
- Tech-savvy. You are comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and can quickly adapt to document management systems.
- Change-ready. You have supported process audits/improvements and know how to bring people along with you.
