This global law firm in Washington, DC is seeking several experienced and polished billing professionals to join their growing accounting department. In the Senior Billing Specialist role, you will work directly with partners to manage the monthly billing cycle. This position requires discretion, superb communication skills and prior law firm billing experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with attorneys to schedule payments, prepare invoices, and follow specific client billing procedures.
- Be a resource to clients regarding billing questions and concerns.
- Prepare complex monthly reports detailing accurate accounts and financial records for clients; ensure compliance across client portfolios.
- Review and electronically file forms with different software applications.
- Keep up-to-date client portfolios while monitoring billing schedules.
- Assist with special projects across the team, including using data analysis, research and running accounts receivables reports.
- Evaluate billing processes, assessing efficiencies and areas of improvement for a smoother process internally and externally.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with at least four (4) or more years of experience in law firm accounting, finance, bookkeeping or billing is required.
