Receptionist

This large, global law firm is seeking an experienced Receptionist to support their dynamic DC office. In this role, you will represent the firm as the first point of contact among visitors and play a key role in ensuring daily firm operations run smoothly. If you are someone who enjoys providing white-glove customer service, working in a fast-paced environment, and is seeking a long-term opportunity, this could be the role for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the office by greeting visiting clients, attorneys, and staff members and guiding them to the appropriate offices.
  • Answer phones and distribute messages, mail, and other communications in a timely manner.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling conference rooms and coordinating with vendors.
  • Maintain office organization, tracking supply inventory to ensure the office is well stocked and running smoothly.
  • Assist with additional projects and assignments as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced and eager. You see yourself in a front desk role long term and have at least four to five years of relevant experience. Candidates with experience in a large law firm will stand out!
  • People person. You have exceptional communications skills and thrive in a people-facing role. Creating a warm and welcoming experience for others is one of your strengths.
  • Digitally gifted. You can operate seamlessly on the applications of Microsoft Office and are a quick learner when faced with new software systems.
  • Calm, cool, and collected. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, keeping a level head when handling competing priorities without letting any slip by.
