Program Specialist (Temporary-to-Hire Opportunity)

Are you a professional with a genuine interest in healthcare and program support? This nonprofit is seeking a temporary Program Specialist to aid in meeting coordination and execution tasks alongside ad hoc project needs. The ideal candidate requires minimal handholding in completing tasks such as slide deck creation and editing, expense and program budget tracking, attendee monitoring for events and general correspondence. Candidates with previous experience working in a women’s health space are highly encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate meetings, take active meeting notes, provide follow-up materials and summaries to all necessary parties. Be a key player in the orchestration of annual online webinars.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as electronic filing, scanning documents, maintenance, and updating files as needed.
- Oversee financial tracking and budgeting concerns, ensuring information is accurately submitted through online portal.
- Work closely with the team to help overall program development and execution, including communication across internal and external players.
- Compose presentations and meeting materials for distribution as well as reporting metrics and summaries.
- Stay updated on strategic initiatives to progress internal deliverables across the team and industry leaders. Strong time management skills are a must!
- Be an active participant with consistently auditing processes and providing feedback on methods on improvement and positive change.
