Marketing Coordinator

Washington, D.C./Hybrid

$30 – $35/hour

As the Marketing Coordinator with this growing company, you will help guide the company’s success by coordinating various activities related to the company’s newsletter, marketing proposals, and website updates, in addition to various strategic marketing projects and initiatives. The successful candidate is someone with confidence in their skills and abilities who is ready to take on new challenges with minimal supervision. This is a six-month contract role with benefits, and the opportunity to convert to direct hire after the successful competition of the appointment!

 

About the Job:

  • Develop the company’s monthly newsletter.
  • Manage graphic design projects and deliverables.
  • Draft and format PowerPoint presentations and documents for dissemination to clients.
  • Update the company website.
  • Draft press releases.
  • Spearhead marketing projects and initiatives.

About You:

  • Experienced. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is preferred. At least two (2) or more years of experience in marketing is required, ideally in the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Confident. You have excellent judgment and are a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Tech guru. You have an exceptional understanding of all things technology, particularly creating PowerPoint decks.
  • Writer. Your writing, editing, and proofreading skills are on point.
  • Creative. You have an eye for graphics and welcome the opportunity to coordinate the design process.
