Litigation Paralegal

Washington, D.C./Hybrid

$75,000 – $85,000

As a Paralegal at this dynamic global law firm, you will support a busy team of attorneys by playing a critical role in preparing filings and conducting research. In addition to assisting with exciting legal work and helping attorneys finalize critical documents, you will also be called on to synthesize large amounts of information and to use litigation technology to manage your cases. This is the perfect opportunity for candidates with previous law firm experience that are looking to work for an international law firm offering growth and promoting professional development. This firm is also offering hybrid work from home flexibility!

 

About the Job:

  • Provide paralegal support to various practice groups including litigation and healthcare.
  • Prepare documents for upcoming meetings, update the team on approaching deadlines, and follow-through with appropriate documentation.
  • Assist attorneys with research on case law and pending lawsuits.
  • Utilize MS Office and litigation technology to manage documents and analyze data.
  • Investigate facts and prepare related documentation.
  • Work independently and within a team structure to meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service to external clients and internal attorneys.

About You:

  • Experienced. Four-year degree and at least two or more years of law firm experience required.
  • Dedicated. You go the extra mile for your attorneys. At the end of the day, no task is left undone.
  • Strong Writer/Editor. You can clearly express ideas in your writing and spot grammatical errors in documents. Exceptional writing and editing skills are essential.
  • Database Savvy. You have extensive knowledge of litigation technology and feel comfortable navigating through databases on a daily basis.
