This global law firm in DC is seeking a proactive Litigation Assistant to support a driven team of legal professionals. This is a role where your contributions directly support attorneys and client teams, while ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Support client onboarding and initiate new matters while adhering to internal guidelines.
- Assist attorneys with filings, document preparation, and coordination with external contacts.
- Support case and project teams with research, edits, correspondence, and client-facing documents.
- Manage calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for attorneys and teams.
- Provide hands-on support for trial and transaction teams.
- Oversee document distribution, scanning, and filing with meticulous attention to detail.
- Develop and assemble materials for clients, such as attorney biographies, presentations, and informational sheets.
- Maintain attorney contacts and track BD activities in internal systems.
- Conduct research to support business development initiatives and events.
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for internal processes, resources, and office services.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally to solve issues and maintain seamless operations.
- Partner with assistants across teams and offices to ensure consistent, high-level support.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced. You bring a minimum of five years supporting legal teams, with a solid foundation in office operations and priorities.
- Forward-Thinking. You stay ahead of deadlines, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure all parties are informed and aligned throughout every task.
- Technologically adept. You are able to navigate MS Office, and various legal software with ease.
- Reliable. You are able to adjust your schedule as needed to support the team and meet deadlines.
- Organized. Skilled at supporting multiple attorneys and teams simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met and work runs smoothly.
