Are you an experienced legal administrative professional looking for a dynamic opportunity in a fast-paced law firm? This growing firm in DC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support several Partners in busy litigation and intellectual property practices. This role is integral to maintaining efficiency in a deadline-driven environment, managing key administrative functions, and ensuring seamless legal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to multiple Partners, managing busy calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Assist in preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, discovery materials, and client correspondence.
- Facilitate e-filing of court documents while ensuring compliance.
- Organize and maintain case files with high-level confidentiality.
- Coordinate client billing, expense reporting, and other financial documentation in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Handle client communications with professionalism, discretion, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Manage deadlines for hearings, mediations, trials, and other key litigation milestones.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience. Legal Administrative Assistants with at least four years of experience are encouraged to apply; candidates with IP experience will stand out!
- Technology proficiency. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with legal research platforms.
- Meticulous and organized. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solver. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Strong communicator. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal professionals.
- Flexible and adaptable. You are willing to adjust to attorney schedules and urgent case requirements.
