As the Legal Administrative Assistant at this established law firm, you will provide trusted administrative support to several attorneys within the firm’s corporate practice. In this role, you will serve as an essential partner to your attorneys, managing calendars and travel, coordinating client billing and timekeeping, preparing documents, and anticipating needs in a fast-paced legal environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal administrative professional who is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented and enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange domestic and international travel.
- Open new client matters and prepare engagement letters.
- Manage client billing and attorney timekeeping, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Prepare and submit attorney expense reports.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files and assist with document management.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, attorneys, and colleagues.
- Provide backup support to other Legal Administrative Assistants and paralegals as needed, assisting with overflow work and competing priorities.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced and prepared. You have at least five years of legal administrative experience, ideally supporting attorneys in a corporate, litigation, or real estate practice. Some litigation experience is a plus.
- Highly organized. You have exceptional attention to detail and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive. You anticipate attorneys’ needs, take initiative, and look for ways to make their day-to-day work more efficient.
- Strong communicator. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
- Calm under pressure. You work effectively and efficiently when managing time-sensitive requests and competing deadlines.
- Team-oriented. You are comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a broader administrative team and providing backup support when needed.
- Technically proficient. You are highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with document management systems.
- Education is a plus. A college degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is preferred but not required.
The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
