Experienced Litigation Legal Secretary

Washington, D.C.

$75,000 – $85,000

As the Legal Secretary with this respected Washington, DC law firm, you will be exposed to a variety of interesting cases while supporting a team of attorneys. From observing well known litigators in action to managing client/attorney relationships, each day at this law firm will be different. Your prior legal experience and solid tenure will be valued at a firm whose culture is collaborative, engaging, and a place where you will want to stay for the long term.

 

About the Job:

  • Provide executive level administrative support to a team of busy attorneys.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and ever-changing schedules.
  • Draft, prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents, reports, memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements and corresponding itineraries.
  • Enter attorneys’ billable time, and prepare and process expense reports and client invoices.

About You:

  • You have at least five or more years of prior experience working as a litigation legal administrative assistant.

  • You know how critical quality work is to a legal case.
  • Service Oriented. You always put the client first and deliver top service.
  • Your interest in the legal field helps you provide superior support to the team.
  • You demonstrate solid business acumen and communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
