This mission driven law firm in Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced legal administrative professional to support the firm’s senior partners. As the Legal Executive Assistant, you will operate as the administrative right-hand, coordinating complex scheduling, arranging travel logistics, preparing key meeting materials, and overall functioning as a crucial gatekeeper and trusted point of contact. If you have a background in legal administrative support, are exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, and are looking for an opportunity to bring your professionalism and polish to supporting senior leaders, firm operations, and clients, this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage busy, multi-time zone calendars, coordinating all scheduling and travel logistics including booking flights/ground transportation, arranging hotels, and preparing trip itineraries.
- Prepare meeting materials such as briefs, agendas, and presentations to ensure partners are well informed and well equipped for upcoming meetings.
- Organize files, notes, and relevant documentation, tracking action items and deadlines to ensure information is easily accessible and tasks don’t fall to the wayside.
- Function as a key liaison and gatekeeper, communicating on behalf of senior leadership among clients, attorneys, and staff.
- Assist with projects and conduct legal research as needed.
- Provide light personal support, including scheduling appointments and personal travel.

What We’re Looking For:
- Legal experienced and educated. You have a bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) or more years of prior experience providing administrative support in a legal environment. Candidates with experience/knowledge of the plaintiffs’ bar will stand out!
- Swift with software. You know the Microsoft applications, Adobe Acrobat, and other document management platforms like the back of your hand and can navigate all software with exceptional efficiency.
- Professional and people-person. Your professionalism and social charisma are some of your standout strengths, interacting with attorneys, clients, senior leadership, and other staff with confidence and grace.
- Action driven. You are always on you’re A-game, highly organized, proactively anticipating needs and functioning as the calm in the storm.
