Executive Assistant to General Counsel and Leadership Team

Washington, D.C./Hybrid

$65,000 – $80,000

As the Executive Assistant with this DC Association, you will be providing administrative support to the General Counsel and leadership team. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling a range of executive support and operational related tasks. This team is searching for an experienced Executive Assistant with a proven track record for delivering quality work with efficiency, professionalism and attention to detail. The Executive Assistant is someone who is well organized, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. About the Job:

  • Maintain the General Counsel and leadership team’s calendar and daily schedule, including all meetings and engagements.
  • Assist with planning and management of small and large events.
  • Prepare briefing materials for key meetings with members.
  • Monitor all documents that need to be sent out, edited, transcribed, and inputted.
  • Oversee the contract process for the department and provide assistance to the other departments as needed.
  • Handle all travel arrangements, itineraries, and transportation for when the principals travel.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all internal and external clients.
  • Serve as liaison with C-Suite Executives frequently interacting with high-profile contacts.

About You:

  • Experienced. You have 4-5 years of previous work experience as an executive assistant, paralegal or legal secretary.
  • Detail-oriented. You have strong organizational skills and are able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Communicative. You enjoy working with others in a team environment and are professional with clients.
  • Adaptable. You are a self-starter and can prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines at one time.
  • Perfectionist. You are the one to make sure critical details aren’t missed and love to produce quality work.
