Executive Assistant to CEO

Are you a highly polished Executive Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments? A leading DC-based professional services firm is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support a highly dynamic CEO. In this role, you’ll go beyond traditional administrative support, playing a critical part in keeping initiatives moving, communications seamless, and priorities aligned. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional who brings strong executive presence, thrives under pressure, possesses intellectual curiosity and takes pride in operating at the highest level.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a right hand, managing complex calendars and shifting priorities.
  • Coordinate intricate domestic travel, including detailed itineraries and real-time adjustments.
  • Prepare, draft, and edit documents and reports, including but not limited to expense report processing.
  • Support the deal lifecycle by reviewing, editing, and finalizing transaction materials with precision.
  • Track key deal data and timelines, ensuring accuracy and organization across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage high-level communications and act as a liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Own special projects from inception through execution with minimal oversight, including but not limited to, light personal support.
  • Assist with planning firm events, meetings, and conferences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Executive Support Experience. You have at least ten years dedicated to the Executive Assistant field. Candidates from Capitol Hill or professional services with C-suite support, or adjacent are encouraged to apply.
  • Education. You hold a bachelor’s degree and bring a strong academic foundation to your work.
  • Executive Presence. You are polished, confident, and able to interact seamlessly with high-level stakeholders.
  • Technical Agility. You are an MS Office power user, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and a knack for efficiency. Candidates fluid to AI technology will stand out!
  • Flexible. The successful candidate is comfortable going the extra mile to make sure the work gets done.
  • Pace. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, managing competing priorities without missing a beat.
  • Precision. You have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
