Join a respected DC-based nonprofit as an Executive Assistant supporting a C-suite leader and contributing to organization-wide initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-driven, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of high-impact administrative and project work. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to leadership, balancing day-to-day coordination with opportunities to support strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel logistics with accuracy and foresight.
- Screen and prioritize communications, ensuring timely and appropriate responses that reflect the executive’s voice and priorities.
- Prepare leadership meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and follow-up documentation.
- Assist with cross-functional projects, such as event planning, strategic initiatives, and special assignments that advance organizational objectives.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain organized systems for files and internal records.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and streamline administrative processes across the executive office.
- Anticipate needs, flag potential issues early, and help keep projects and schedules on track.

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience. You have at least three years of experience supporting high-level leadership, driving administrative support parallel with internal projects and objectives.
- Agile. You are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, shifting gears quickly, and keeping projects on track.
- Tech-proficient. You are confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adaptable to new systems and tools.
- Proactive and resourceful. You anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and take initiative to improve processes.
- Adaptive professional. You respond thoughtfully and confidently when leadership changes direction or priorities shift, maintaining composure and effectiveness.
