Conflicts Assistant Manager

A prestigious boutique Washington, DC law firm is seeking an experienced Conflicts Assistant Manager to support their busy team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is highly self-motivated, an excellent communicator, and possesses three to five years of previous conflicts experience. This could be a great opportunity for an experienced conflicts coordinator, or a seasoned legal secretary who runs conflicts checks on a regular basis. About the Job:

  • Assist with reviewing client records, processing intake forms, and distributing reports to attorneys and appropriate staff.
  • Update and input data into the conflicts and financial databases and conduct research for databases.
  • Work with attorneys and staff to research and clear conflicts and communicate results regarding conflict checks.
  • Provide coverage of department functions and support for additional tasks and projects as needed.

About You:

  • Organized. You follow directions and are methodical when following-up on a task.
  • Experienced. You have at least three (3) or more years of conflicts experience in a law firm. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Communicative. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are able to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Tech-savvy. You can quickly learn new software systems and enjoy using new technology.
