This impact-driven nonprofit is seeking an Associate to support initiatives that engage stakeholders, strengthen governance and civic systems, and advance mission-focused advocacy. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is highly organized, and excels at managing multiple priorities while collaborating across teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct policy and political research, integrating findings into clear, actionable materials for internal teams and external partners.
- Manage tracking systems for stakeholder engagement, legislative activity, and advocacy progress.
- Coordinate meetings and events with policymakers, partner organizations, and other stakeholders, ensuring all logistics, materials, and follow-up are handled efficiently.
- Support senior leadership in planning, executing, and monitoring advocacy initiatives.
- Track multiple projects and initiatives, maintaining timelines and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately.
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions and external partners to advance mission-driven objectives.
- Provide general administrative and project support as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Hill Understanding. You bring at least two years in policy, advocacy, or legislative work, including experience on Capitol Hill, in government, campaigns, or nonprofits.
- Educated. A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Organized and analytical. You bring structure and clarity to complexity through strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Cross-functional. You enjoy working with diverse teams and can build trusted relationships across stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy. You’re proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new tools.
- Professional and discreet. You demonstrate sound judgment, handle sensitive information with care, and manage competing priorities gracefully.
