This nonprofit association is seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist with organizational and administrative functions, as well as back-office systems, for the HR team. As the Administrative Assistant, you will support the HR team with, onboarding and offboarding procedures, document and personnel file management, administrative tasks, and special projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an effective communicator, and has a strong administrative mindset. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist onboarding and offboarding flow, including but not limited to communicating with staff, conducting background checks, welcome process, training, and personnel file execution.
- Provide administrative support, including drafting, editing, and finalizing documents, spreadsheets, reports, and mass communications.
- Upload new-hire forms and maintain files in the talent acquisition system.
- Coordinate meetings, office catering, retreats, seminars, and special events as needed.
- Maintain internal documentation, employee files, and departmental reports.
- Support benefits and payroll administration by addressing employee inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accuracy.
- Oversee financial tasks, including expense reports and budget tracking.
- Communicate effectively across departments and with internal/external stakeholders to provide updates on processes, deadlines, and procedures.

- Administrative enthusiast and task-juggler. Over two years of office experience (bonus points for HR support!), you know how to keep things running smoothly. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
