Administrative Assistant

$45,000 – $50,000

The position provides direct administrative support to a dynamic, growing company looking for a project-oriented Assistant to assist their communications team. Candidates ideally will have experience handling heavy domestic and international travel and be able to juggle special assignments to help the team to build the firm’s infrastructure. The successful candidate is a creative problem solver with prior corporate experience who can anticipate and plan for unexpected changes. About the Job:

  • Assist with a wide range of administrative and executive responsibilities such as managing the office workflow, drafting correspondence, and liaising between the Executive Office and high-level external contacts.
  • Coordinate and manage the meeting calendar and travel schedule for the team, including preparing detailed, complex itineraries for travel to domestic and international meetings.
  • Develop relationships to maintain a high level of service for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create effective presentations and spreadsheets for client and staff meetings.
  • Manage special projects assigned by executives to streamline and develop firm processes and procedures involving the communications department.

About You:

  • Administrative Pro. You must have your bachelor’s degree and at least one year experience in an Administrative Assistant or Communications role, preferably with a large and/or publicly traded organization.
  • Communicator. Demonstrated ability developing good rapport and building relationships on behalf of a busy Executive.
  • Sense of Urgency. A commitment to producing quality work in a high pressure, fast moving environment.
  • Tech Savvy. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Client driven. Attentive to the needs of internal and external clients.
