This HR consulting firm with a strong reputation for client excellence is seeking an Account Manager for their Virginia office. You’ll be the strategic point of contact for clients, keeping things moving with proactive communication, sharp analysis, and polished presentations. This is a blended role, part client relationship management, part data analysis, part project coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to clients through proactive communication and virtual meetings.
- Be the primary point of contact for clients navigating benefit enrollments, renewals, and issues.
- Respond quickly and communicate proactively (if you’re researching an answer, clients hear from you along the way, not just at the end).
- Assist in managing complex accounts and advising clients.
- Oversee analysis and strategy calls and enrollment meetings as needed.
- Effectively delegate assignments and works closely with the extended service team.
- Compile, edit and finalize slide decks, excel reports, data metrics to assist in client analysis and strategy.
- Be the point of contact to clients and act as their advisor and strategic arm within benefits.

What We’re Looking For:
- Professional and polished. You possess at least a year of experience in an external facing role to clients, customers or stakeholders; you make a great impression, and you know how to compose formal business emails and presentations.
- Degreed. A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Responsive and client-first. You don’t let clients wait, and you over-communicate rather than under-communicate.
- Excel proficient. Intermediate Excel skills are a must. You catch errors, work fast, and enjoy digging into data. Candidates with Canva experience will stand out!
- Detail-oriented. Accuracy matters to you.
- Confident and warm delivery. You are polished, genuine in collaboration, and hungry to grow.
The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
