Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant

This professional services firm in DC is seeking an adaptable Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant to support an active executive. The EA/PA will provide executive support, including client-facing responsibilities and daily scheduling and communication, alongside personal assistance, ensuring business and personal needs are met from the start of their day to end. This role is seeking a proactive, polished professional who is flexible and service-oriented and looking for an opportunity to work in a high-volume, dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage business and personal calendars, ensuring seamless communication with executives, team members, and external contacts.
  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations and research relevant talking points for meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by responding promptly and effectively to their needs.
  • Draft, edit, and finalize documents, meeting materials, spreadsheets, and other written materials with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Compose business professional emails and other correspondence to executive teams both internally and externally.
  • Organize logistics of on-site meetings, including scheduling conference rooms.
  • Assist the executive with ad hoc assignments and projects as needed.
  • Oversee personal tasks, including running errands, scheduling maintenance, event coordination and execution, reservation confirmations, and assisting extended family members as needed.
  • Maintain and organize critical business and personal documents, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Dedicated assistant. You have at least three years of experience supporting executives in a professional services environment.
  • Trustworthy. You handle sensitive and personal matters with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Orderly. You thrive in keeping schedules, priorities, and personal needs running smoothly.
  • Tech-effective. You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and can troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • High-performance mindset preferred. You remain calm under pressure, anticipate needs, and help reduce the burden on busy executives.

 

The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
