A prominent, boutique law firm in Maryland is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join their busy and growing practice. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with attorneys providing comprehensive paralegal and litigation support throughout all stages of family law matters, including managing discovery, reviewing and organizing case documents, and assisting with depositions, hearings, and trials. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation, service, and response to all forms of legal discovery.
- Organize, review, index, and summarize case-related documents.
- Support attorneys with deposition, hearing, and trial preparation and proceedings.
- Draft and coordinate discovery and trial subpoenas, preparing and revising routine motions, subpoenas, legal correspondence, and related documents.
- Communicate directly with clients and other relevant contacts to provide case support and assistance, coordinating with expert witnesses and assisting with related case preparation.
- Handle electronic court filings, case calendaring, and day-to-day litigation support for multiple trial attorneys.

What We’re Looking For:
- Family law experience. You have a minimum of three (3) or more years of family law experience, specifically in Maryland. Candidates who have a background supporting trial and litigation attorneys will stand out!
- Analytical and technically fluent. Conducting legal research is one of your strengths and you are highly adept with LexisNexis, Westlaw, e-filing systems, calendaring, and the applications of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborative and consistent. You have exceptional communication skills both verbally and through writing and are seeking an environment that is team oriented.
- Thorough. You have an eye for the smallest of details, are highly organized, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
The salary listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
