Temporary Real Estate Paralegal (Title & Survey Experience Required)

As the temporary Real Estate Paralegal with this international law firm, you will be an integral part of the Commercial Real Estate Practice Group, supporting attorneys across a range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. This firm is seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented professional with strong title and survey experience who can confidently navigate due diligence, identify potential issues, and keep transactions moving forward. Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of commercial real estate transactions, with a particular focus on title, survey, and zoning due diligence.
- Review title commitments, title policies, surveys, and related materials; prepare clear summaries and abstracts and assist with identifying items that may require further review or objection.
- Evaluate title and survey matters, as well as relevant zoning requirements.
- Coordinate closings, prepare checklists, and track key deadlines to ensure seamless execution.
- Assemble, review, and maintain closing binders, ensuring all documents are complete, accurate, and organized.
- Review and analyze legal documents, including corporate resolutions, title commitments, surveys, and loan agreements.
- Assist with the preparation and review of documents requiring recording, ensuring materials are properly prepared for filing.
- Maintain spreadsheets, track client information, and collaborate closely with title companies, lenders, surveyors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate closings, prepare checklists, track critical deadlines, and help ensure all transaction requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Assist with other administrative and transaction-related tasks as needed to support attorneys and clients.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced. You have at least five or more years of prior law firm experience supporting commercial real estate attorneys. Bachelor’s degree in hand.
- Knowledgeable. You have hands-on experience reviewing title commitments and surveys and understand how these materials factor into commercial real estate due diligence.
- Real estate-savvy. You have direct experience with closing binders and understand overall transaction workflow.

The hourly listed reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, business considerations, and internal equity. Final offer amounts are determined at the employer’s discretion.
