Executive Assistant/Office Coordinator (Temporary-to-Hire; One Day In-office/Month)

Washington, D.C./Hybrid

$70,000 – $90,000

Are you familiar with the consulting world, and have a blended background spanning operational and executive support? As the Executive Assistant/Office Coordinator (temporary-to-hire) with this consulting firm, you will provide a blend of executive and operational support to the leadership team. This individual will work directly with the team to assist with many traditional EA responsibilities such as managing calendars, scheduling, and expense reports. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in supporting operational and business support needs to include creating and optimizing processes, planning team activities, providing light HR support, and supporting RFP needs. If you enjoy streamlining operational activities, optimizing processes, and providing support to leadership, this could be an excellent next step in your career.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple calendars and act as a liaison for the executive team.
  • Organize meetings, travel, and special events as needed.
  • Support donor and fundraising strategy.
  • Organize and compile meeting materials, including but not limited to, documents, reports, spreadsheets and slide decks.
  • Undertake in-depth process reviews and own the creation of new processes and optimization of existing processes, summarizing findings and making recommendations to leadership.
  • Support leadership with basic HR functions to include overseeing employee engagement activities, onboarding and offboarding, and light recruitment support.
  • Create and implement program automations, compile reports, and undertake basic research relevant to the business.
  • Liaise with the support team to facilitate communication and coordinate administrative tasks.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Consulting and technology experience. You have a minimum of four years prior experience working in government consulting, technology, cyber security, or adjacent, in an executive assistant or support position, or adjacent.
  • Forward-thinking. You have proven experience working in process improvement, automation, and optimization and are always one step ahead on how to improve efficiency.
  • Strong communicator. You clearly communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Detail oriented. You are the one to make sure critical details aren’t missed and love to produce quality work.
  • Exceeds expectations. You genuinely enjoy supporting a team and always aim to deliver exceptional support.
  • Proactive. You are a problem solver through and through and enjoy being the go-to person on your team.
