Are you a Paralegal with strong knowledge of bankruptcy law, looking to make an impact in a high-profile practice? A large, nationally recognized law firm is seeking several Bankruptcy Paralegals to join its office, supporting attorneys on complex bankruptcy matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide paralegal support in bankruptcy cases, including drafting, filing, and serving pleadings in state and federal bankruptcy courts.
- Synthesize and understand local court rules across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and organized files for large bankruptcy matters.
- Draft and process claims, track claim activity, and support reconciliation efforts.
- Assist attorneys with court filings and applications, along with other case-related pleadings.
- Prepare case summaries, monitor dockets, and distribute timely updates to attorneys and clients.
- Coordinate logistics, prepare materials and track deadlines relevant to case materials.
- Support attorneys and clients with communication, legal research, and case preparation.
- Track billable hours and assist with billing-related documentation.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced. At least two years of substantive bankruptcy experience in a law firm or legal services environment; experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply as this firm is seeking assistance from a variety of skilled professionals. A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Knowledgeable. Skilled in bankruptcy pleadings, claims reconciliation, and federal court filings.
- Organized. Adept at managing multiple deadlines, case files, and client communications with precision.
- Collaborative. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work seamlessly with attorneys, clients, and external contacts.
- Detail-oriented. Consistently deliver polished, accurate work in a fast-paced setting.
- Tech-savvy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic filing systems.
